Civil society organizations provide vital services for communities all across Africa that help people to thrive.

Yet, there is very little credible data on CSOs available to other CSOs and funders alike. There are gaps in understanding of what organizations and groups exist and even details on the impact they have. Many organizations remain under the radar and thus lack the funding and other support they need to continue their efforts.

EPIC-Africa works to address this.

• We produce actionable data and insights on the African civil society sector through CSO surveys, reports and mapping. 

• We advise CSOs on due diligence, capacity diagnosis and planning. 

• We interpret the African philanthropic landscape. 

• We host a platform that brings African CSOs together to share data with each other and with funders.
